Tim Sweeney talks about the return of Fortnite to iOS
It has been a year since fortnite was removed from the App Store on iOS devices. However, It seems that it is coming less to see this Battle Royale on this platform . After the judgment issued by a US court today, a fan asked Tim Sweeney, Epic Games CEO, about the return of this game to Apple's virtual store.
While Sweeney did not offer a clear answer to this doubt, he he did mention that this will happen once Epic Games can offer a fair monetization form within the application . This was what he commented:
Today's decision is not a victory for developers or consumers. EPIC is fighting for a loyal competition between payment methods within the application and application stores for a billion consumers.
Fortnite will return to the iOS App Store when and where EPIC can offer payment in fair competition application with payment in Apple's application, transferring savings to consumers.
Thanks to all who dedicated so much time and effort to battle for loyal competition on digital platforms, and thanks especially to court for managing a very complex case in such a quick time. We will continue fighting.
Fortnite Will Return To The IOS App Store When and Where Epic Can Offer In-App Payment In Fair Competition With Apple In-App Payment, Passing Along The Savings to Consumers.

Recall that the issued judgment has indicated that Apple has to leave developers who link alternative methods of payment within an application, something that will come into force on December 9. In this way , it is very possible that at the end of the year fortnite finally returns to iOS devices, although this is not safe at the moment.
