From August 25, MacOS support for Mmorpg The Lord of the Rings Online will stop
The developers of the Lord of the Rings Online reported that on August 25, the game will stop supporting the MacOS client.
It also means that the customer support service will stop working on the issues and problems of players on the Mac. Links for downloading the client will remain after the termination of support, so the remaining players will be able to maintain access if they want, but the client’s functionality will stop.
The decision to terminate the support of the old, less used platform is only one of the many solutions of the MMORPG community at present. Other games, such as Eve Online, Star Trek Online, Neverwinter and Everquest, have already stopped supporting old systems over the past few months.
