Official announcement of the railway management sim RailGrade, released in the second half of 2022. Saitama -born factory railway automation game

Epic Games Publishing/ Minakata Dynamics officially announced Railgrade on June 28. The corresponding platform is Nintendo Switch/PC (Epic Games store). Scheduled to be released in late 2022.

Railgrade is a management simulation game focusing on the railway network. A railway is laid between major factories and necessary resources in order to save the foreign entertainment where the economy is confused. In the single player campaign, more than 50 missions are recorded. Aiming to regain the former glory of industrial colony outside the earth. If you use a token that can be obtained for each mission, you can unlock new factories, upgrate and options. The bonus side mission seems to be a challenge element to test your ability. This work is handled by Minakata Dynamics, which is based in Yashio City, Saitama Prefecture. A joint company launched by Daniel Dressler. Daniel Dressler is a creator who came to Japan in Japan from Canada and was involved in the Tiny Metal series (our magazine interview article). He originally had a knowledge to Unreal Engine.

On the RailGrade official website, Dressler conveys the features of this work with the development team, CHRIS. According to Dressler, the cooperation of Epic Games was able to receive direct support from developers who work on Unreal Engine. This was a great help in development.

According to CHIRS, the Nintendo Switch version has been carefully optimized over six months and has already achieved performance goals. Dressler seems to dream that the Nintendo Switch version of this work will be an introductory work of the management simulation.

Demo play has been distributed free of charge at Steam since 2021, but the store page of this work has been deleted from the Steam with this official announcement. The PC version would have been exclusive to the Epic Games store, with the release of Epic Games Publishing.

Railgrade will be released in late 2022 for Nintendo Switch/PC (Epic Games Store).
